CLIMBER’S DELIGHT

It is well said that "Teamwork is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results". Exemplifying this, the different process teams working for FILI Business portrayed the FMR FILI as One team. The FMR FILI team went to an Adventure Offsite to Ram Nagar which is 40Kms from Bangalore City on the Mysore - Bangalore Highway on August 9, 2007.
The craggy wilderness around Ram Nagar is a climber's delight. Considered as the Mecca of Rock Climbers, this amazing place has plenty of opportunities for the amateurs and professionals alike. Climbs of various grades along with few bolted routes are also present. There are temples present at the top of a few hillocks. Ram Nagar has the shooting of the "Sholay" Film to its credit as well.

The whole cluster of hills is spread over many kilometers, with a moderate town adjacent to the Bangalore-Mysore Highway. As you enter the town you will find many rocky hills on the both sides of the road.


The offsite was packed with lots of fun events like Green Trek (in reserve forests), Rock Climbing/ Bouldering, Rappelling from a breathtaking 125 ft. vertical rock face, High Rope Traverse, Walk to Sunset View Point, Tug of War, Dodgeball, Bonfire with music etc. Each event was successful and exciting in its own way. Since all the associates in the team participated with loads of energy; the enjoyment was bound to be high. This offsite helped associates to know each other well and work as one team. The team will look forward to such offsites in the future. A special thanks to Satya Prakash Ranjan, Bhavani Prasad Deshmukh, Pankaj Tiwari, Sitaram Alla and other associates who had put in a lot of effort to make this a wonderful event
